I started brewing in 2012 and have been a member of the Oregon Brew Crew since. In my first 3 years I was awarded 2 Merle Gilmore Bung awards as well as the Member of the Year Bung.I have supported the club as Vice President since 2016. I have over 30 years experience in highly technical industries in both mechanical and electronic fields. This has been a great benefit to be over the years in the homebrew hobby from both a process and equipment standpoint. Over the years, I have built multiple brewing systems for myself as well as for others . I have also assisted in upgrading and offering insight from my experience to others looking for advice. I have attended two National Homebrew Conferences (PHI and S.D.) I was fortunate enough to have a poster board presentation on "Building a Brewing Sculpture" at the San Diego Conference. My Mantra has always been.... "Learn to Brew, then Brew to Learn"
