After twenty years in the high tech industry, I decided to change careers and follow a dream. I had been homebrewing for a hand full of years at that point and fallen in love with the combination of science and art. In 2014, I attended the Master Brewers Program at UC Davis to learn from some of the best in the world and get a jump start in my new career. I received my IBD Diploma Brewer certification at the end of the course and quickly landed a job at Deschutes Brewery where I've been since.
